During my time living in Barcelona, I had the opportunity to create illustrations for a children's story titled "The Day Pau Reached the Clouds," which addresses Brachial Obstetric Paralysis (BOP). The book aimed to raise awareness about this condition, offer hope to affected children and raise funds to support various activities of foundations related to the issue. BOP occurs during childbirth when forceps are misused by the doctor. If left untreated, it can lead to permanent arm movement disability. The illustrations were created for the children's book published by the Catalan Foundation Adayo, serving as a means to raise awareness and support patients of BOP while also aiming to prevent future cases
